Kate Middleton's Garden Party Look Is All the Rage on Social Media
You know it's officially spring when Kate Middleton wears a light pink dress to a garden party. On Tuesday, at an afternoon soiree hosted by Queen Elizabeth at Buckingham Palace, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge made a surprise appearance. William looked dapper as ever in a lounge suit, and Kate absolutely stunned in a super pale pink coatdress by one of her most beloved designers, Alexander McQueen.
And need we even say it? People have feelings about Kate's warm weather attire.
To say the duchess nailed her look for the party is an understatement. Kate IS garden party here.
Naturally, the Duchess of Cambridge paired the dress with a matching fascinator, suede pumps by Gianvito Rossi, and a Loeffler Randall clutch.
The Queen regularly hosts garden parties during the spring and summer, but it's been a while since Kate has made an appearance at one. The last time we saw the duchess at one of the Queen's signature get-togethers was in 2017 -- this, of course, is likely because she gave birth to Prince Louis last summer.
Despite the duchess having a jam-packed schedule this week, she certainly appeared to enjoy herself at the event.
You'd never know she has three young kids and basically just designed a garden for the Royal Horticultural Society Chelsea Flower Show. Boundless energy over here!
If we're being completely honest here, Kate Middleton rarely makes a fashion misstep, so her flawless sartorial choice isn't all that surprising.
That said, sometimes she really hits it out of the ballpark. And at the garden party, she hit it out of the ballpark.
Well done, m'lady.
