BabySwede has announced a recall of its BabyBjorn Babysitter Balance Bouncer Chair and the BabyBjorn Babysitter Balance Air Bouncer Chair. The problem is that small, sharp metal objects found in the padded area of the bouncer chair can protrude and possibly cut and injure your baby.

Both bouncing chairs have a red safety latch on the height adjustment mechanism and a plastic footrest with the BabyBjorn logo.

The recalled models and colors are:

BabyBjorn Babysitter Balance Air

          White; Model 009001US

BabyBjorn Babysitter Balance

Black/Red; Model #009064US
Black/Silver; Model #009065US
Dark Blue/Blue; Model #009066US
Brown/Beige; Model #009069US

If you have one of these chairs, stop using it immediately and contact BabySwede LLC for instructions on how to return it for inspection. If any metal pieces are found during the inspection, you will be sent a new BabyBjorn Babysitter Balance product.

For more information, contact BabySwede via its recal web site or call 866-424-0200.

If your baby has been injured, please let the Consumer Product Safety Commission know by visiting the CPSC web site.
