Second Mega Millions Lotto Winner Quits Job in Most Epic Way Possible (VIDEO)

California Mega Millions LotteryThere's nothing like belatedly realizing you have the second winning ticket in last month's $648 million Mega Millions lottery to start your day. Delivery driver Steve Tran came forward this week after "totally forgetting" that he bought a ticket for the lottery while driving through San Jose weeks prior, even after winner Ira Curry came forward in December claiming half the winnings. Yup, that lucky little winning ticket worth a whopping $324 million was just sitting on top of his dresser for WEEKS ... until now.

But that's not even the best part. Nope. Because right after Steve realized he was an effin' millionaire (sorry, this is exciting stuff, people) he hugged his wife and then called up his boss and gave him a piece of his mind.

"I'm really sorry, boss. I hit the jackpot," Steve said. "I don't think I'm going to come in today, tomorrow, or ever."

Yup, the lotto winner immediately quit his job. Ha, this man's a rock star!

Realistically, who wouldn't want to pick up their bags and quit their job when they're taking home $130.3 million after taxes? The question is: would you?

Granted, there's something to be said for being able to have the freedom to come and go as you please without answering to anyone. But don't you think after a while you'd want a sense of purpose? Am I crazy to think that after a few months of spending money just because, I may want to feel needed again in the work force?

Hey, I guess I think that now -- but who knows what I'd feel if I won Mega Millions. At this time, there's no news as to what Steve's going to do with the money, other than take a vacation. At least the next time he's on the road driving, it won't be for work.

Would you leave the work force forever if you won the jackpot?
