Online shopping is a blessing and a curse. On the plus side, you never have to leave the house to find exactly what you want. One negative, though, is that it's far too easy to load up that shopping cart and check out in just a few quick clicks. One teen accidentally charged $733 in makeup to her mom's credit card and now her all-too-real video in which she realizes her error and has the appropriate freak-out is going viral.

While it sounds like it happened innocently enough, that doesn't mean it wasn't shocking for both Alex DelloStritto and, no doubt, her poor mom. Listen as she shares her post-shopping spree meltdown:

The self-proclaimed makeup fiend explains that like any makeup lover, she keeps her Sephora basket filled with her wish-list items. This time, though, she entered a gift card to check the balance (which was, unsurprisingly, $0!), and somehow accidentally charged the order to her mom's card, which was stored on the site. D'oh!

You can see where this could happen. My teenaged son is constantly dropping items in my Amazon cart as not-so-subtle hints for holidays or his birthday. But because an expired credit card is stored there, any orders he ever tries to place are immediately declined. Rather than doing it intentionally, I just hadn't updated the information. But after reading this, I think I'll leave things just as they are! LOL.

At least she tried her best to cancel the order, right? According to The Daily Buzz, the 15-year-old is still very much alive and well. Her mom was able to cancel the order so this story has a happy ending.

But, looking at Alex's Instagram feed, she makeup skills are beyond impressive, so that $733 could be an investment in her future career. You just never know!
