13 Cool Picks for Your Tween's Easter Basket That Won't Cause Eye-Rolls

Easter basket

Filling Easter baskets can be tricky once your kid hits the tween phase: Gone are the days when a pile of cellophane grass and plastic multicolored eggs held any sort of attraction, and while jelly beans and marshmallow bunnies are delicious at any age, they're not going to elicit the kind of wide-eyed joy from your kid that they did back in preschool. So how's a parent supposed to play Easter Bunny?

Luckily, there are plenty of fun items out there that are just the right size to fit in your big kid's basket (think of them as a springtime version of stocking stuffers). Even better, they're all cool enough to get a smile, at least -- anything is better than an eye roll!
