Boy's Selfie With Queen Elizabeth Is Such a 14-Year-Old Thing to Do (PHOTO)

queen elizabethTeens are kinda the worst but also ... kinda the best. They may have a penchant for answering any and all questions with one word, eating wildly disgusting concoctions of food, and partaking in what could be deemed "reckless" behavior now and again, but they also have zero self-awareness at times -- and that can be kind of awesome. Case in point: The ballsy teen who tried to take a selfie with Queen Elizabeth.

While Queen E and Prince Philip were making an appearance at St. George’s Market in Belfast, Ireland on Tuesday, a 14-year-old boy identified as Jack Surgenor tried to snap a selfie with the Queen in the background.

Only a teen would see the queen at arm's length and think, "Man, I need to be in this shot." God bless 'em.

Gotta love the Queen for looking slightly amused at the boy's antics. And gotta love young Jack for having the guts to do such a thing. Teens can certainly drive their parents insane with the common sense they lack, and evident self-absorption, but sometimes they're pretty damn cute. And that photo is one for the books.

What's the craziest thing you ever did as a teen?
