Full disclosure: I'm a huge fan of the kids/rock 'n' roll combo. My own kids take lessons at a local "School of Rock" (yup, just like in the movie) and there's nothing quite like watching a group of kids who haven't yet mastered long division pulling off classic cover songs like "The Joker" and "Sweet Emotion."
Now that's what I call a sense of accomplishment!
So I of course absolutely adore this recent viral video smash. It's a clip of the Mini Band, a group of 8- and 10-year-olds in the UK, playing their version of Metallica's "Enter Sandman." That's a heavy tune to tackle for a bunch of kids young enough to get nightmares from watching an actual Metallica music video!
Just wait until you hear the guitar solo ... truly impressive:
