15 Reasons Pilot Peter Weber's 'Bachelor' Season Is Going to Be a Total Mess

Peter Weber The Bachelor spoilers

Poor Peter Weber. The lovable pilot has been busy shooting the upcoming season of The Bachelor, but let me tell you -- so far, it's anything but roses. Between trips to the hospital, immature cat fights among the women in the house, and a bad girl with an even worse reputation making it all the way to the finals, things aren't looking great for Peter's happily ever after.

"There's going to be ups and downs, I know that's coming," he told host Chris Harrison after being announced as the season 24 lead back in September. But maybe he wasn't aware of just how many ups and downs there would be...

Look, if anyone deserves to find love, it's this guy. After getting his heart handed to him on Hannah Brown's season of The Bachelorette after what appeared to be a loving and, ahem, passionate fantasy suite date (four times in a windmill, anyone?), it's certainly time for the 27-year-old to meet the right lady. But unfortunately, after digging through the spoilers for his season of The Bachelor, it looks like the dark-haired stud is in for a bit of a bumpy ride.

Will he pick the right contestant and end up engaged? That still remains to be seen. But one thing's for sure, Peter's season is going to be a hot mess. And here's why...

He wasn't exactly the obvious choice to hand out the roses this season.

Sure, he's a sweet guy who came in third place on Hannah's season, but it's no secret that fans were hoping Mike Johnson would land the coveted gig, making him the first black Bachelor in the franchise's history.

Even former Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay, who was the first (and only) female lead of color, spoke out and expressed disappointment after Peter was confirmed as the lead.

"I want to be hopeful, but when you have a contestant like Mike Johnson, who seems to check all the boxes, how is he not the Bachelor? I don't understand," she told Us Weekly.

Peter's first impression rose recipient is an unusual choice.

Word on the street is, Peter gives his first impression rose to a beautiful blond woman named ... you guessed it, Hannah. Considering he just got his heart broken into a thousand pieces by the former Bachelorette with the same name, it certainly sends a bizarre message.

While appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show before filming had begun, Peter admitted, "I don't know if I'll completely lose all that love I have in my heart for [Hannah Brown]. I kind of hope I don't."

Oh Peter, and this is just night one...

Speaking of night one, the intros are filled with cheesy airplane puns and windmill jokes.

Sigh. One contestant apparently dresses up as an actual windmill. I can only imagine the opening line that went along with that costume.

Peter gets injured...

As you may have already heard, back in October, Peter was injured while filming on location and was rushed to the hospital for stitches. There were various reports stating what may or may not have happened, but Chris cleared up any rumors with a simple statement: "There’s been some wild claims and rumors about Peter today. Peter suffered a freak accident. He got a cut on his head, he did get stitches but he’s 100% OK and production is already back underway. He’s still the dashing, handsome pilot we’ve all dreamed of."

...and food poisoning.

As if being sent to the hospital to get stitches isn't bad enough, Reality Steve also reports that Peter got food poisoning while filming and ended up canceling a group date over it. Poor dude can't catch a break.

Hannah Brown shows up and makes Peter feel all the feelings.

We should've seen this one coming, right? According to spoilers, the original Hannah (not to be confused with first impression rose Hannah!) makes a cameo on Peter's season -- likely just to offer some advice to her former flame. Makes perfect sense.

Her "unexpected" arrival makes Peter all emotional and freaks the other women out.

There's a forced storyline based around pageant queens... yes, again.-placeholder

There's a forced storyline based around pageant queens... yes, again.

Haven't we done this already? Just like Caelynn Miller-Keyes and Hannah Brown's feud on Colton Underwood's season, there will be even more beauty pageant drama to come this season.

"You thought the Hannah/Caelynn bickering last season was bad, just wait til this season's s--- storm rolls in," said Reality Steve. "Manufactured drama, of course, but it will dominate the first few episodes..."

8/15

There's some seriously immature drama that goes on in the women's house.

So yes, apparently there are two groups of women in the house that have issues with one another. And they've felt so inclined to name their groups "The Cats" and "The Rats" for reasons unknown...

Look, I get it. Drama brings ratings. But giving yourself a group name and targeting another group of women? That's just cringeworthy.

And then there's this girl Victoria F.-placeholder

And then there's this girl Victoria F.

And she's bad news. Despite ruffling the feathers of just about every woman in the house, Peter still falls for her.

10/15

Her bad reputation makes Jed Wyatt from 'The Bachelorette' look like a saint.

As we already know, Jed allegedly had a secret girlfriend while filming The Bachelorette last season, but that didn't stop him from proposing to Hannah Brown in the finale.

But apparently, Victoria's backstory is worse. Much worse. She's known for dating married men and has allegedly broken up countless marriages before joining the show. "I cannot reiterate how many times since filming began have I received emails and tips about Victoria that all say awful things about her," Reality Steve said.

11/15

She reportedly had a fling with singer Chase Rice, who performs during her one-on-one date with Peter.

Talk about awkward! During their one-on-one date, Peter and Victoria get serenaded by country crooner Chase Rice. Only problem is, Chase and Victoria previously had a fling.

"Once they got off stage, Victoria was visibly upset talking to her producer with her arms crossed. Peter talked to Chase first. Then Victoria went to talk to Chase behind the tent with two cameras filming," Reality Steve reports.

12/15

But she still gets a hometown date -- while Peter sends other good women home.

That means at least eight weeks of this villainess character on our television screens ... sigh.

13/15

But Victoria's hometown date is an absolute disaster.

Literally everyone tries to warn Peter about Victoria, including his ex-girlfriend from 2012, Merissa, who shows up during Victoria's hometown date to warn Peter about her reputation.

According to Reality Steve, "Merissa tells Peter about Victoria and what she knows. She's ruined marriages, she's a liar, she's a manipulator, and that she really thinks he deserves someone who's there for him, and Victoria is not it. This is the first Peter has heard of this news, says it was a huge buzzkill because he's had such a great time with her, but he thanks Merissa for telling him, they hug, and he leaves immediately with producers and gets into a car."

14/15

The warnings don't work -- and Victoria gets through another week.

Even after her disastrous hometown date, she still gets a rose and makes it to the fantasy suite with Peter. When will this guy learn?

But fantasy suite dates will be hard to live up to.

We already know that he and Hannah had a pretty eventful fantasy suite date last season, so we can only imagine how paranoid the women will be going into those final dates. Anyone who doesn't get busy with the pilot at least four times is definitely a goner.
