The show must go on! Less than a week after learning that the new star of The Bachelor, Peter Weber, had a medical emergency in Costa Rica, it appears that production has already started back up. Pilot Pete reportedly suffered a head injury after a freak accident, but according to inside sources, including host Chris Harrison himself, he's doing just fine.

  • Chris shared a photo of him and Peter shortly after the news broke that he had had a medical emergency during filming.

According to Radar Online, Peter suffered a "serious injury" on Monday, October 7, after "splitting his head open" while playing golf. A source revealed, "He went to step on the [golf] cart but fell and and split his face open on two cocktail glasses he was carrying."

Another source revealed that he had to travel two hours to a hospital for proper medical treatment, and that he ended up with 22 stitches.

Chris addressed the story head-on on Instagram, writing in his caption, "There's been some wild claims and rumors about Peter today. Peter suffered a freak accident. He got a cut on his head, he did get stitches but he’s 100% OK and production is already back underway." Our host with the most added, "He's still the dashing, handsome pilot we've all dreamed of."

  • Another source has opened up on how Pete is doing since the accident.

An insider told E! News, "Peter got his stitches out over the weekend prior to filming in Chile. He's been wearing lots of hats to cover the bandaged area."

At least he looks adorable in hat, right? We're sure the ladies competing for his heart on the show don't mind a bit that he got a little banged up. In fact, we won't be surprised at all to see some Florence Nightingale wannabes come out when this airs on the show in 2020.
  • Before he became the leading man on 'The Bachelor,' fans fell in love with Peter on Hannah Brown's season of 'The Bachelorette.'

Although the two ultimately didn't work out, they parted amicably, and even joked together on the After the Final Rose special that they had done it four times in a windmill. We're sure the contestants this season have some big expectations after that confession!

  • We're just glad to hear he's recovering well!

We know it's sometimes a major headache to be the leading man or woman on this show, but this isn't what anyone had in mind. Here's to hoping that Pete really is doing just fine, and able to ditch those hats soon!
