Amber Portwood's Latest Instagram Post is Seriously Concerning

Amber Portwood

We've been really worried about Amber Portwood lately, and the Teen Mom star's recent social media activity is making us even more concerned. On Wednesday, Amber's cryptic Instagram post talked about how much she's really hurting. Is she OK?

  • Amber posted this image of a shattered glass heart, writing that she's in the worst pain.

My god this hurts worst than anything...🙏😢

Amber's been going through a lot lately. Not only was she arrested following a domestic violence incident, but she and Andrew Glennon have broken up, and he has custody of their baby, James. Pair all of that with the fact that she's been open about her struggle with her mental health in recent months, and we can imagine that this is really hitting her hard.

  • It's hard to say if something new happened to cause her to post this or not.

It doesn't seem like there have been any brand new developments in her situation, so maybe she's just feeling sad about the way things are. It can't be easy to be away from James -- maybe that's what pushed her to post this image?

Either way, she's making it clear that she's having a pretty hard time. And there have been rumors that Andrew has cheated on her, but that's never been confirmed. Hmm...

  • The good news: Amber seems to have plenty of support, especially from her Teen Mom OG co-stars.

In fact, Catelynn Baltierra even defended Amber from haters and said that she was traveling to Indiana to be with her -- that's a real friend.

We're glad to hear Amber has someone to lean on. Abuse is never OK, but it seems like this is a very, very complicated situation.

  • We just hope Amber is getting the help she needs.

She deserves to be happy and healthy, and James and Leah deserve to have a mom who is happy and healthy, too. This is obviously a horrifying situation, and we just want everyone involved to be OK.

    We'll be thinking about her.
