Jenelle Evans Makes an Outrageous Claim Against Leah Messer

Jenelle Evans

Well, that was random. You'd think Jenelle Evans would be trying to make as many allies as possible right now, but not so much. Instead, she seems to be randomly attacking her former Teen Mom 2 costars online. Jenelle went after Leah Messer on Twitter recently, insinuating that they've been in similar circumstances when it comes to being investigated by Child Protective Services.

  • Jenelle is obviously sick of people claiming she's a "bad mom" just because CPS removed her kids from her home with husband David Eason.

Jenelle and David's kids were removed from their North Carolina home in May, after he allegedly shot and killed her French bulldog Nugget for nipping at their 2-year-old. Jenelle now claims that she doesn't know what happened to her beloved pet, because she apparently can't or won't ask her husband if he killed him.

Anyway. After nearly two months of investigation and court battles, Jenelle and David finally had their previous custody orders reinstated, and they got their kids back. Since then, Jenelle has been posting lots of photos on Instagram, including one of taking Kaiser to his first day of kindergarten

  • When a fan accused Jenelle of essentially doing it for the 'Gram, she threw Leah under the bus, claiming that she had also lost custody of her kids at once point.

  • Leah revealed last year that although she came close to losing custody of her daughters, she never actually did.

After a custody battle with twins Ali and Aleeah's dad Corey Simms in 2015, Leah shared in 2018 that she never actually lost custody of them. She told Us Weekly, "The current custody situation, just honestly … whatever we think is best for them, we do. We are doing the week on and then a week off. It's always been 50/50. People were like, 'Leah lost custody' … I almost did, but I never lost custody of my children."

  • Leah clapped back at Jenelle's unfounded attack on social media, asking that she leave her alone.

A fan defended Leah on Twitter, telling Jenelle that she can't compare the two situations. Leah was going through a very difficult time in her life, even admitting to being suicidally depressed. She took some time to get the help she needed, and was even praised by both Corey and her second ex-husband, Jeremy Calvert, for taking care of herself and getting better.

Leah responded to the fan and explained that Jenelle is just trying to "pin her troubles" on someone. She responded in a second tweet, "She ain't worth my time."

  • Jenelle is obviously trying to rationalize her decisions, but she came for the wrong girl.

Leah's not about to take anything from Jenelle, and she has no problem stepping in to defend herself. Nice try, Jenelle, but it seems as though you'll have to look elsewhere to try and excuse your poor choices.
