It's been weeks since Jenelle Evans and David Eason lost custody of all of their children, and over the weekend, they were faced with their first holiday without them. On Sunday, Jenelle shared a sad Father's Day post on Instagram, and it's clear she's really feeling the absence of Ensley, Jace, Kaiser, and Maryssa from their home.

  • Jenelle shared a photo of the empty pool at her house on her Instagram story.

"It's too quiet here," she wrote, adding crying emojis.

Being that Jenelle and her kids spent so many days in the pool last summer, it makes sense that she's especially taking notice of her quiet backyard -- going from a house filled with kids to having them all gone practically overnight has to be a pretty big adjustment.

Because Jenelle and David are only able to see their kids during supervised visitations these days, it makes sense that they didn't get to see them for the holiday.

It had to be a tough one, but right now it seems as if it's what's best for the kids (and their safety). We're still reeling from the fact that David shot Jenelle's dog, Nugget -- it's probably a good idea that the kids are all with other guardians right now.

  • Meanwhile, it looks like Barbara took Jace and Ensley to Myrtle Beach.

Looks as if they were busy all weekend -- as per usual. Anyone who follows Babs on Instagram knows she's been keeping the kids busy since she's had custody of Ensley, which is probably really good for them. This has to be such a confusing time, but it's good to see that they're getting to spend so much quality time with Barbara.

  • It's hard to say what the future holds for Jenelle and David where their custody battle is concerned.

Last we heard, Jenelle is planning to stand by David as they fight to get custody back, but so far, it's seemed like an uphill battle for them both. If only she'd just walk away from him -- girl, it's time to run!

We just hope that whatever's right for the kids is what happens. They deserve to feel happy and safe in their home, wherever that happens to be -- and whoever they happen to be with.
