"So no one told you life was gonna be this way" -- clap, clap, clap, clap. It's hard to believe almost 25 years have passed since we were first introduced to Monica, Rachel, Chandler, Joey, Phoebe, and Ross, but here we are. Folks are still binge-watching Friends and have been dying for some type of reboot or reunion given all the old '90s shows making a comeback. Welp, a Friends reunion could happen, and it seems we're one step closer than we were before.

  • The first episode of Friends premiered on September 22, 1994.

With more than 230 episodes to enjoy over a decade, Friends is that TV show that reminds us of friendship, awkward love stories, and relatable moments that had us dreaming of catching up with some buddies at Central Perk. It's the reason why Netflix paid $100 million to keep Friends for another year, because the love (and backlash against such foolishness) is clearly real.

  • And Jennifer Aniston tells Ellen she's totally down with doing some type of reunion.

"Listen, I told you this, I would do it," she told Ellen DeGeneres during a recent appearance on her show. "The girls would do it, and the boys would do it, I'm sure. Listen, anything can happen."

  • Although this isn't new news, her latest update hints we're one step closer to getting our wish.

Jennifer's mention of the boys -- David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc, and Matthew Perry -- being willing to participate is quite different from past confessions. Back in December, Jennifer Aniston hinted the Friends reboot was stalled because the guys were "less excited about it" -- so this definitely progress.

"I know Matt LeBlanc doesn’t want to be asked that question anymore," Aniston revealed to InStyle in August about a Friends reboot, Entertainment Tonight reports. "But maybe we could talk him into it. Or we just give it some time and then Lisa, Courteney, and I could reboot The Golden Girls and spend our last years together on wicker furniture."

  • Needless to say, folks want this to happen.

Thus far, the reaction to the idea of a Friends reunion has been extremely positive. People really want this to happen and are crossing their fingers -- especially since the show will celebrate its 25th anniversary this year.

Here's hoping the boys all sign on to the project and that we get this to happen ASAP!
