It's been almost two months since Luke Perry unexpectedly died at 52 after complications from a stroke. Although he's since been laid to rest and had a memorial in his honor, it looks like we'll have to say goodbye one last time. Luke Perry's final Riverdale episode is set to air this week that has fans of Luke (and his character, Fred Andrews) getting very emotional.

  • Luke's final Riverdale episode is set to air this Wednesday.

Prior to his stroke, Luke was filming Riverdale episodes in Los Angeles. And now, it looks like we'll get to see his final work on the hit teen series.

  • Series showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa confirmed the somber news to fans over the weekend.

We can't even deal thinking about the last scene between Fred and Archie. So far this season, we got to see Luke in action on Riverdale ... but after this week, it all ends.

"You know, honestly, we are I think all still in shock and are all still processing and grieving," Aguirre-Sacasa once admitted about Luke's untimely passing, People reports. "We know that we have to address it in some way, but we're giving ourselves a little bit of time and space before we figure out the best way to honor him."

  • Needless to say, fans are preparing to cry.

If ya can't tell from the reaction, it's probably going to be very emotional -- especially because Luke and the rest of the cast didn't know what these final scenes would mean when they were filming them.

It's probably a good idea to have the tissues ready!

  • Others are still having a hard time grasping that Luke is gone.
