'Fuller House' Drops Lori Loughlin From Final Season

John Stamos and Lori Loughlin in Fuller House

At this point, we think it's safe to say that a certain TV aunt's luck has officially run out. Word is Fuller House dropped Lori Loughlin in light of her alleged involvement in a pretty crazy college admissions scandal. And with the show's fifth and final season coming in the future, it looks like we won't be seeing Aunt Becky in the mix.

  • Lori Loughlin reprised her role as Rebecca Katsopolis on the Netflix show.

Prior to her run on Fuller House, Lori starred as Aunt Becky on the original '90s TV show from 1988 to 1995, when Full House got canceled.

Although Lori's involvement in the Netflix show isn't super huge (she's been in fewer than 15 shows since Fuller House premiered back in 2016), it is pretty head-turning to hear she won't be a part of the final season.

  • And it looks like Fuller House is ready to cut ties after learning about her alleged participation in a college scam.

"Fuller House is not currently in production. Lori is a guest star and was during the previous [four] seasons and there are currently no plans for her to return to the [fifth] season," an insider "well-placed in production" alleges to TMZ about Lori getting canned from the show.

Last year, it was revealed Fuller House is ending with its upcoming season.

  • News Lori got dropped from Fuller House comes shortly after Hallmark released a statement about its brightest star.

    Yeah, they canned her, too.

Hallmark is "no longer working with" Lori Loughlin after discovering (along with the world) she and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, paid $500,000 in bribes to guarantee their daughters (Isabella, 20, and Oliva Jade, 19) would gain entrance into USC -- ultimately leading to their indictment, along with 48 others. Prior to the company's decision, a number of Hallmark fans wanted Lori to be fired.

  • Guess it's time to say to goodbye to Aunt Becky.

It seems Lori Loughlin is losing her checks with the quickness. Guess it didn't pay to be a part of that reported bribery scheme as it's definitely not paying off.
