New 'Bachelorette' Hannah Brown Is Still a Bit of a Mystery

For the first time in Bachelorette history, the leading lady was not in the previous Bachelor's top four ladies. Hannah Brown only made it about halfway through Colton Underwood's season before he sent her home. Although we love the switch-up, it means this lovely lady is still a bit of a mystery to most viewers.

Some people have been a little wary about ABC's choice to cast the Alabama beauty queen, especially considering her "feud" with fellow contestant Caelynn Miller-Keyes, but she may be just the breath of fresh air the franchise needs.

Even though Caelynn was a front-runner to become the next Bachelorette, she may have been passed over by producers because of an ill-fated conversation between her and Cassie Randolph. Tayshia told Colton Underwood that Cassie and Caelynn were plotting together about being the next Bachelorette, and were definitely there for the wrong reasons.

Of course Cassie and Colton ended up together, after a dramatic season finale in which he dumped both Tayshia and Hannah G. in order to pursue Cassie after she broke up with him before they made it to the Fantasy Suite.

We were honestly expecting Tayshia, Hannah G., or Caelynn to be the next Bachelorette, so it was a twist when Hannah B. was announced. Since she never got a hometown date, we don't know as much about her and her background as we've known about previous leading ladies on the show.

Don't worry though, Entertainment Tonight has the scoop on Hannah Brown. Here are five fast facts to know about her going into the new season of The Bachelorette
