As if it wasn't enough of a shock that Bristol Palin would be joining Teen Mom OG this year, she has announced yet another turn in her professional life -- and no, it doesn't have anything to do with reality TV (or politics.) What could be more exciting than being an MTV star? Or moreover -- does this new career move mean she might be moving away from reality TV?

Her resume is certainly nothing to scoff at.

Other than pursuing a career as an esthetician, Bristol has also taken stabs at professional acting in shows such as The Secret Life of an American Teenager -- and her reality TV show days didn't start with Teen Mom. Remember when she was teamed up with Kyle Massey on Dancing With the Stars? On top of separate business pursuits and public speeches, it seems that Bristol could really go anywhere she wanted to in her career.

But it seems now she's doing something much more "homey."

Literally! Bristol just announced three days ago that she is now an official real estate agent!

"Super excited to let everyone know what I've been working on for the past year," she wrote on Instagram. "I signed on with the Ben Kinney team (the #1 team) at Keller Williams Realty!! The value and security of homeownership has been so near and dear to my heart for the past decade. Homeownership, and the investment of owning a home, have been my biggest financial security blankets as a single mother."

Bristol's Spicewood, Texas, home cost her about $400,000 -- a step up from her old home with her ex husband, Dakota Meyer, to whom she transferred custody of the house after their divorce agreement. Needless to say, Bristol is an expert on this stuff by now.

Bristol continued in her Instagram announcement, "I purchased my first home -- a foreclosed condo -- nearly a decade ago, and have been buying and selling ever since. I cannot wait to help others in their journey of buying and selling real estate here in Austin, TX!!"

We know she'll empower women just like her.

She's been rocking her life as a single mom, and it's a given that if there's any woman in Texas who happens to be in a similar position like her, she'll be there to lend a helping hand. We're super here for this career shift -- and now all that's left to wonder is how this will effect Teen Mom OG.

Luckily, it doesn't seem as if Bristol has any plans to leave the show -- so hopefully we'll get to see her career in action during the next season.
