There's a new baby on the scene! According to RadarOnline, ex-Teen Mom OG star Ryan Edwards's wife, Mackenzie Standifer Edwards, has given birth to their son. As expected, Ryan was unfortunately not present during her labor, for he is going through treatment in rehab for heroin abuse.

  • Mackenzie reportedly welcomed their baby boy Jagger into the world, unfortunately without her husband present.

It was reported that Ryan was very likely to miss the birth of his new son. Mackenzie's expected due date was October 8, but because Ryan checked back into rehab just last month, it's not surprising that he wasn't able to be with his wife as she delivered their first son together.

  • Ryan is expected to finish his treatment in February or March of 2019, so it might be a while until he gets to see his family again.

The former Teen Mom OG star has dealt with a myriad of legal troubles of the past year, with multiple arrests related to heroin possession, so we are glad to see that he's finally getting the help he needs.

And we're sure Mackenzie will appreciate him returning to her and their new son clean and fully recovered.

  • We know it must have been extremely difficult for Mackenzie to not have her husband by her side, but luckily, she wasn't completely alone.

An insider told RadarOnline that Mackenzie's mom and aunt are likely the ones who were with her the whole time.

It's sad that Ryan wasn't able to be there, but we are glad that baby Jagger had some sort of welcome squad when he was born.

  • There is currently no confirmation from Mackenzie herself, but we'll surely be on the lookout for some baby updates (and hopefully photos).

In the meantime, we'll keep wishing for Ryan's full recovery in rehab so he can be reunited with his wife and new baby son.

Even though the circumstances and timing aren't ideal, we give our congratulations to Mackenzie and Ryan as they grow their family.
