Arie Luyendyk Jr. & Lauren Burnham's Wedding Invitations Are Unconventional to Say the Least

Arie Luyendyk Jr., Lauren Burnham

It's still months away, but Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham are in full wedding mode. The controversial Bachelor couple just shared a sneak peek of their wedding invitations, and they definitely weren't what we expected at all.

  • Arie and Lauren decided on photo invitations, featuring an image of them gazing lovingly at each other in a field.

In Lauren's Instagram stories, she also showed off the back of the invitation, which has a black-and-white photo of them together. The invitations also included all the important info, including the location, time, and date, as well as their wedding website for additional information.

Arie added the caption on his post, "Sending these out this week! January can't come soon enough."

  • The pair got engaged on the "After the Final Rose" special of The Bachelor, after he called it quits with Becca Kufrin.

They wasted no time in locking in a date and place, announcing in May that would tie the knot in Hawaii, in January 2019. Although it seemed like they couldn't get enough of flaunting their relationship at first, they surprised us by opting for a private ceremony with friends and family only -- ABC will not be filming the event for a Bachelor wedding special.

  • These two are already making a life together, and even just bought a house in Arizona.

Lauren moved almost immediately to Scottsdale to be with her love, and they found a house they loved together soon after. Lauren said of settling down, "Arizona has been a really easy adjustment for me as I've moved around my whole life. I've been making friends and trying to get settled in but we really haven't been here all that long yet. It has been fun exploring the area and Arie is a really good tour guide, so that helps."

  • These two have had such an unconventional relationship, we expected something else from their wedding invitations.

Even though ABC won't be filming their wedding, we're sure to get lots of pics and videos on social media, and we can't wait to see what other special touches they include in January. We're sure it's going to be gorgeous.
