After much speculation, it's official -- Nickelodeon is launching The Splat to air popular '90s shows. Oh yes, parents now get to step back in time as they relive all those fun moments from their days of watching cartoons on television. And what makes this all the more gooey (had to throw a slime pun in there) is how they can share a piece of their childhood with their kids.

So get your DVR ready, because come October 5, it's showtime. Here's a look at the 14 shows slated to make a comeback.

All That

Growing up, adults had SNL and we kids had All That. The variety show was full of laughs and musical performances that brought the house down. Notable cast members included Amanda Bynes, Nick Cannon, Kenan Thompson, and Jamie Lynn Spears (yes, Britney's sister).

Hey Arnold!

Hey Arnold! Looking back, this animated show tackled some tough topics -- including a fourth-grader, Arnold, who lived with his grandparents in an inner-city boarding house. Hey Arnold! did a pretty good job focusing on blended families, and growing up in a home that didn't include a white picket fence.

Rocko's Modern Life

Where else will you see a wallaby have a pet dog? Rocko's Modern Life was definitely an animated show that might not be intended for tots, but it did entertain an older audience as the main character, Rocko, the wallaby, contemplated the meaning of his ordinary life.

Hey Dude

Life on a ranch in Tuscon, Arizona, sure does look a lot different than the Big Apple. Hey Dude was a show for teens that followed a divorced father who moved his son, Buddy, across the country after he purchased the Bar None Dude Ranch. No worries, he makes friends.

Kenan & Kel

Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell served up funny on the sitcom Kenan & Kel. The All That castmates were so comical they scored their own series that followed their lives as teens -- and love of orange soda (well, Kel couldn't live without it).

Legends of the Hidden Temple

Legends of the Hidden Temple was hands down one of the best game shows for children (Double Dare was cool). Featuring an Indiana Jones feel, the show had teams of six gather as many artifacts in order to earn a chance at entering a Mayan temple, navigating unknown rooms and finding a coveted artifact before time ran out.

Ren & Stimpy

Consider yourself lucky if your parents let you watch Ren & Stimpy. Needless to say, some people didn't think it was a show for kids, as it featured questionable content and super gross things (hope you like boogers). However, it did give us the fun song "Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy."

The Wild Thornberrys

You never knew what adventure was in store when you watched The Wild Thornberrys. The animated family had no problem climbing trees and navigating exotic waters as they documented their journey on film. Eliza might've been the youngest child, but she certainly had a special way with wildlife.
