Uh-oh. Things are not looking good for Ryan Edwards these days. It turns out that the troubled dad hasn't stayed clean since entering rehab a year ago after all. According to court documents, he failed a drug test for suspected heroin as recently as January.

  • Ryan entered rehab last May, after eloping with Mackenzie Standifer.

In a scary scene on Teen Mom OG, Ryan was seen slurring his words and acting completely out of it while driving them to the wedding. It was announced during the same episode that he had entered a rehab facility to try and kick his addiction to heroin.

  • Radar Online reports that Ryan failed one of his court-mandated drug tests in 2018.

They obtained court documents from Red Bank City Court in Tennessee, which state that Bentley's dad "tested positive for opiates and morphine in a urine sample collected on January 17, 2018."

Last week some shocking details came out about Ryan's arrest in March 2017, when an officer noticed a hypodermic needle in an open backpack during a routine traffic stop. Upon searching the vehicle, the cops found 14 needles, one of which had heroin in it, and a bag with a dark substance inside. They also found two silver spoons and a scale.

  • Maci Bookout filed an order of protection against Ryan last month, after he allegedly made repeated threats to her and her family.

According to Radar, she claimed, "He has left voicemail messages threatening to show up at my house and take my son. He has made threats to show up and hurt me if I don't answer my phone." Maci also said that last year, Ryan "showed up under the influence of heroin and got in my face, yelling and threatening to hurt me."

Maci's husband Taylor McKinney filed his own order of protection against his stepson's father. Taylor claimed in his filing, "He called me on Tuesday, March 20th, 2018 and threatened to show up at my house and put a bullet in my head ...The police were called and they suggested to seek an order of protection." He also pointed out Ryan's "history of drug abuse," and his threat that "he would show up at our son's baseball game and confront us, my wife and I."

  • This whole situation is incredibly sad, and we seriously hope that Ry gets it together and can finally just say no to drugs.

Not only is he letting Bentley down, he also has another baby on the way with Mackenzie. His children need a father who cares more about them than where he's going to get his next fix. Until he can keep himself clean, we just hope his baby mamas keep themselves and their children safe.
