Corinne Olympios Defends Herself Against DeMario Jackson's Latest Accusation

Corinne Olympios

Corinne Olympios wants one thing made clear -- she never "falsely accused" DeMario Jackson during the whole Bachelor in Paradise sex scandal that happened last June in Mexico.

Filming was shut down after just a couple of days after an incident in the pool between DeMario and Corinne. We're still not sure exactly what happened, but apparently some crew members were worried that Corinne hadn't been cognizant enough to consent to oral sex from DeMario.

At the time, DeMario said his character had "been assassinated," while Corinne called herself a victim, and claimed to have blacked out during the incident. After a review of the tapes from that day, Warner Bros. concluded that there had been no wrongdoing. Filming resumed, without DeMario and Corinne, but with a new 2-drinks-an-hour-max rule. Probably a good idea.

After the season finale of The Bachelorette on Monday night, ABC ran a promo for Bachelor in Paradise, which premieres next week. They showed footage of DeMario and Corinne getting hot and heavy, and even her leading him into the pool.

DeMario told Entertainment Tonight after it aired, "I'm glad footage of that day is being shown ... This is a victory for all men who have been falsely accused."

Corinne fired back that his statement was "false and misleading," and that the clip shown wasn't the one of the alleged incident. "As DeMario is well aware, the footage that was in the promo was not of the encounter that caused production to be shut down," her rep clarified. "The encounter that caused production to be shut down took place much later in the day, and it was in a hot tub, not a pool ... Corinne has never leveled any accusations at DeMario."

In all fairness, DeMario didn't say that Corinne was the one who falsely accused him, but we can understand why she'd be upset. Then again, she did call herself a victim, which, you know, implies that DeMario had violated her in some way.

We're just glad that the whole thing seems like a story of too much alcohol and the perfect setting for sexual exploits.
