Ever since we found out about the controversial tweets Lee Garrett posted before The Bachelorette began, we've been wondering if they'd ever get brought up on the show. On Monday night's Men Tell All special, Lee was taken to task for the misogynist, racist things he's said on social media, and it was brutal

From the minute Chris Harrison put Lee in the hot seat and started pulling up Lee's tweets on the screen, we knew this was about to be good TV. It's hard to decide what the best part was of the whole segment. Was it how speechless Lee was, how quickly the other men jumped down his throat, or Rachel's sassy response to his behavior? If you ask us, it's probably all three.

And speaking of Rachel's sass, it was all we could do not to jump up and cheer when she offered to give him a lesson on women's rights and African-American history backstage. After seeing those tweets, we kinda think it couldn't hurt. Those were clearly sent by a guy who needs to be schooled on a few things.

Fortunately, there was a happy ending. Lee did resist apologizing for a while, but when he finally did, it was so sweet how the guys wanted to accept it and help him learn from his mistakes. It was so cathartic, but will it actually change Lee's viewpoint? That's yet to be seen.

One thing's for sure, though: ABC should be very careful about who they cast next season. Fans aren't willing to let go of the dirty things they dig up about contestants, especially not after this disaster.
