Rachel Lindsay's Latest 'Bachelorette' Elimination Was Kinda Harsh

Now that we're down to the final few episodes of The Bachelorette, Rachel Lindsay has some tough decisions to make, starting with the cut she made on Monday night's episode. At the rose ceremony following the hometown dates, it was seriously painful to watch Rachel send Dean home, even though it had to be done.

Dean's hometown date was hard to watch too, because of all the emotions that came with it. Seeing him face his dad for the first time after two years, while being so stressed out about introducing Rachel to his totally non-traditional fam? We really felt for him watching all that go down.

Aaaand just when it seemed like Dean was set, and he and Rachel were on solid ground, boom! He got eliminated. Was it just us, or were you blindsided by that choice, too? Rachel had just said she was falling in love with him.

Since Dean has been such a sweetie all season long, we couldn't believe that Rachel was actually sending him home! But she did have a pretty good group of guys left, so whoever she chose probably would have shocked us.

It was so harsh that Rachel would drop a L bomb on Dean right before sending him home, but then again that's how The Bachelorette works. There are a lot of feelings, and what happens next doesn't always make sense. We're crushed for Dean, but Rachel's gotta do what she's gotta do.

There's no doubt in our minds that the right lady for Dean is out there, even if it turns out she isn't Rachel. And if he has trouble finding a date? Well, Dean, you know where to find us!
