Is it just me or does it feel like all the best cartoons were in the '90s and early 2000s? Disney Channel, Nickelodeon, and Cartoon Network made after school and Saturday mornings something to cherish.

Thanks to services like Netflix and YouTube, you can still often hunt down the classics and hope that your kids enjoy them as much as you did, but wouldn't it be nice if these shows were still producing new epsiodes?

Here are 16 nostalgic cartoons that your kids are totally missing out on.

  • Kim Possible

Kim Possible: high school cheerleader by day, superhero by night. Who didn't love watching her take down bad guys with the help of her best friend (and the naked mole rat, of course).

"What's the sitch, Wade?" -- today's kids may never know.

  • Rocket Power

From their handshakes to their tubular slang, these kids were way too cool for us. Watching an episode of Rocket Power made you immediately want to hit the beach ... or attempt an impossible trick on a skateboard.

  • Hey Arnold!

How could you not miss that football-shaped head of his? Arnold was the absolute sweetest, and he and his strange friends were always having adventures in the city. Plus, who could forget about the craziness that was stalker Helga G. Pataki?

  • Courage the Cowardly Dog

Is it just me or was this show actually kind of terrifying? That poor dog couldn't catch a break!

  • Rugrats

These talking babies had the best times together ... when they weren't being tortured by Angelica.

  • Doug

Remember Doug's long journal entries and unrequited love for Patti Mayonnaise? Wonder if our LOs would appreciate the Beets the way we did ...

  • As Told by Ginger

Growing up with Ginger was cool because she was always going through the same adolescent tragedies as we were.

  • Baby Looney Tunes

How cute were Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and Tweety Bird when they were toddlers?! Granny definitely had her hands full.

  • DuckTales

Can we just be rich like Uncle Scrooge now? Thanks.

  • CatDog

It may have been a pretty weird concept, but CatDog was hilarious. The unique duo always had a scheme planned out and it almost always failed. Just try not to think about the whole bathroom situation.

  • The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius

Jimmy Neutron's inventions were awesome. He took a jet-pack to school, had a machine brush his hair and teeth for him, and even invented his own dog.

  • Recess

Those fourth graders made the playground a much better place, if I do say so myself. Plus, there were so many low-key adult jokes, you could still watch alongside your kids and have a good laugh.

  • The Wild Thornberrys

Traveling the wold and talking to animals ... sounds like a pretty amazing life to me.

  • The Fairly OddParents

And here I am, more than 10 years later, still waiting for my fairy godparents to show up in a fishbowl. But seriously, who let Vicky keep babysitting?

  • Dexter's Laboratory

Jimmy Neutron may be smart, but let's not forget about all the times Dexter saved the world. And he had to do it while trying to make sure his sister Dee Dee didn't break his inventions.
