In real time, Dance Moms fans know that controversial instructor Abby Lee Miller left the show back in March. But on TV, the drama is just getting started. A new sneak peek of Dance Moms season 7 shows Miller return to say her final good-byes to the cast, and of course, emotions run high (to put it diplomatically).

One upset mom confronts Miller, saying, "Why are you back? You don't want to work with the kids, they don't want to work with you." And then Miller laments, "It was like, five years of my life."

We also get a glimpse of Dancing with the Stars alum Cheryl Burke, who replaced Miller on the Lifetime reality show, saying, "They didn't trust Abby to be with their girls. I'm not going to yell at them, I'm not going to judge them for their appearances. I do not like her way of teaching sometimes." Hey, you know, fair.

Here's the clip.

According to ET, everyone's thrilled that Burke is on board. "The production breathed a sigh of relief," a source shared.

Clearly, Miller has a lot going on off-screen, having recently been sentenced to jail time for bankruptcy fraud and undergoing gastric sleeve surgery. Seems like the last thing she needs is more gut-churning drama around this reality show.
