She's holding nothing back. In her upcoming memoir, Read Between the Lines: From the Diary of a Teenage Mom, Jenelle Evans admits just how bad her heroin addiction really was. At her worst, the mom of three was shooting up between four and five times a day. Wow.

E! News got a hold of an excerpt of the book and the Teen Mom 2 star admits that the drug completely ruled her life for a period of time -- and it started shortly after she tried it for the first time.

In the memoir, Jenelle, who claims that her first trip was "amazing," says that she "won't glamorize the drug by going into the long details of why people love it so damned much."

"Before I knew it, I was shooting up four or five times a day. I was hooked," she writes.

Needless to say, Jenelle's drug use took a serious toll on her life. Not only did she lose her son Jace to her mom, she says that she disowned her mother, siblings, and friends. "But the truth is no one wants to talk to you when they suspect you're a junkie," she admits.

In one particularly gut-wrenching excerpt, Jenelle says:

"It hurt my heart, made me sick to my soul that I couldn't see my son. I filled that hateful void with more drugs. The drugs always made the pain go away. They didn't turn on me or betray me. I guess heroin was my first steady, dependable lover. It gave me what I needed to live and I gave it my life. By this entry, heroin was the only thing I had in my life that loved me."

So sad.

Thankfully, things are looking up for Jenelle these days. She plays an incredibly active role in all three of her children's lives, including Jace, whom she has joint custody of now. And just the fact that she was able to reveal these things about herself shows how far she's come.

Glad Jenelle has found the strength to come out the other side of her drug addiction a stronger person. And hopefully, with a little time, she'll have full custody of Jace.

Keep it up, Jenelle. Everyone's rooting for you.
