If you watched The Bachelorette on Monday night, you already know things ended on a very intense note ... with a "to be continued" ending that means next week's episode could be even worse. Lee Garrett and Will Gaskins are fighting, and now that some of Lee's racist tweets have been exposed, there's no telling what could happen next.

At the end of the ep, Will was trying to make Lee understand that it was wrong of him to call a black contestant aggressive because of the connotations that term has had in recent history. But Lee just didn't get it, and now, according to The Hollywood Reporter, it turns out that before he made his Twitter account private, he was known for spreading some seriously awful hate.

One of his former followers happened to take screenshots of the alleged tweets, and some of them are seriously offensive.

Of course, it's hard not to wonder why Lee would be interested in dating Rachel if that's how he really feels -- unless he has an ulterior motive. But when he talked to THR before the show premiered, he seemed to be genuinely into her.

In that interview, he said:

"Rachel was probably the classiest girl on [The Bachelor] and it was somethin' else. Then I started really paying attention to her and who she was and learning things about her. I got more excited as time went by. The final audition went through, we flew out to LA, and they did the first cuts and everything. It was wild."

So what's Lee's deal? Is he just on The Bachelorette to give his racist opinions a bigger platform, or has he actually changed? Guess we'll have to see what happens on The Bachelorette, but for now, our hopes aren't too high.
