Wedding bells won't be ringing this fall after all. At least not for Teen Mom star Amber Portwood, who just called off her wedding. She was originally planing to wed her fiancé Matt Baier in October, but sources say that's not going to happen, as their wedding has been postponed indefinitely.

An "insider" told E! News their relationship isn't over -- they're still living and filming together -- they just want to put the brakes on things for a while.

"For the time being, Matt and Amber's engagement is on hold," the source said. "They are working on their relationship."

Raise your hand if you think that's a good idea? Seriously, their relationship has been volatile at best. There have been ups, downs and drama galore since they got engaged back in March 2015.

From charges of Amber physically abusing Matt to rumors earlier this week that Matt failed a lie detector test she had him take on camera, there have been some pretty serious situations between the two of them. Not to mention the fact that they already called another wedding off last year after rumors flew that Matt had secret children with other women. The fighting and accusations just never seem to end, and that's no way to start a marriage.

Apparently a lot of other things have come up too while the cameras have been rolling, adding even more fuel to their fiery relationship. The source said:

A lot has come out through the course of filming and from various online stories. That has added extra pressure and made things difficult. They've both been open about their personal struggles, but it hasn't been easy when their lives are under such heavy scrutiny.

As hard as it may be, we're glad to see Amber and Matt put the brakes on and take the time they need to really figure out if they're meant to be together for the long haul. Those wedding bells are always there for the ringing when and if they're ready someday.
