Can't say that we entirely blame her. Mackenzie Douthit shared her feelings about her former costar Briana DeJesus joining the cast of Teen Mom 2, and it sounds like she's more than a bit perturbed by the whole thing.

It's been widely reported (but not yet confirmed by MTV) that the former Teen Mom 3 star has already been filming scenes for the network, and will appear on Teen Mom 2 in the new season as a new castmate. Teen Mom 3 was canceled after just one season, because for whatever reason, it failed to draw in the audience that Jenelle Evans, Kailyn Lowry, Leah Messer, and Chelsea DeBoer did.

Despite not having her own reality show anymore, Mackenzie has kept herself in the spotlight via social media, which is why she is upset that the network would choose to add Briana to the lineup instead of her.

"They interviewed me and Bri two months ago, but chose her," the mom of three revealed to Radar Online. "I thought, 'This can't be true!' I was confused." She said that she believed that her following on social media would get her the spot -- she has 617,000 Instagram followers as opposed to Briana's 87,000.

She even took partial credit for helping her former costar get where she is today. "She deleted her social media once, and I helped her get her following back. And here she is on Teen Mom!" she confessed. The fitness buff added, "I have worked very hard for where I am. I'm working on all this stuff and what has she done? She's not working on anything ... It sucks the one who has been working harder didn't get it."

However, she has a theory as to why MTV would choose to put Briana on the air as opposed to herself. Mackenzie thinks they may have chosen to go with someone less stable than herself. Briana is currently expecting her second child with an unnamed father, while Mackenzie has three children with her hubby, Josh McKee. "The story on different baby daddies is what people are interested in," she admitted.

We don't know why MTV chose to put Briana on the show instead of Mackenzie, but that's the way the cookie crumbled. We still don't blame Mack for being hurt and confused though.
