Nick Viall Gets an Unexpected Blast From the Past on 'The Bachelor'

It takes a lot to surprise us in Bachelor Nation these days, but it looks like the producers have finally done it. Nick Viall is getting ready for the hometown dates with the four women who were predicted from the beginning of the season, but it looks like there's a major surprise in store next week on the show.

In the preview for next week's episode of The Bachelor, Nick gets a major blast from his past when Andi Dorfman shows up at his hotel room. Nick made his debut on the franchise during her season of The Bachelorette and made it all the way to second place for her heart before being dumped for Josh Murray.

It's unclear why Andi decided to make an appearance, and unfortunately, we didn't get much of a hint from the preview. All we saw was Andi saying, "Hello, Nick," at his hotel room door.

Maybe she's there to give him some kind of advice? They've both admitted in press interviews that they're cordial and occasionally text each other, but they're not what you'd call besties. Andi even criticized him for his skills beneath the sheets in her tell-all book, It's Not Okay: Turning Heartbreak into Happily Never After.

So maybe she's there to give him some sex tips before he heads into the fantasy suite dates? We're pretty sure that would be the best thing to happen on the show, ever.

In all likelihood, it's just a gimmick to get the ratings up. We're not going to hold our breath that Andi is there to admit she made a mistake picking Josh over Nick, and beg for him back. But that scenario sounds pretty awesome too.
