Kailyn Lowry's Baby Daddy Drama Just Kicked Up Another Notch

Just when we thought Kailyn Lowry and Jo Rivera were getting along, the fun is officially over. On Monday night's episode of Teen Mom 2, Jo filed for child support from Kail, and as soon as she got the news, she was pissed. But we have to admit that Jo kind of has a point here -- even though Kail definitely does not see it that way.
Apparently, behind the scenes, there'd been some discussion about Kail dropping the child support Jo sends her.
Kail's side of the story: Jo had never pushed for her to drop it, and she was waiting on him to file for it to be dropped. Jo's side of the story: Kail had never gone to drop it, so now he was owed money.
The whole thing turned into a mess, and TBH, we get it. Jo was struggling to care for his family while paying Kail $500 a month and sharing 50/50 custody of Isaac, and it didn't seem fair. But for Kail to be surprised by a call from her lawyer? Yeah, we get why that pissed her off too, being that she and Jo had felt more like family than co-parents these days.
No matter how you slice it, it's an awkward situation.
Like Vee said, it's not like they want to take Kail's money, but at this point, they don't seem to have the wiggle room to pay the $500 a month if they don't have to -- especially if they're sharing time with Isaac equally. Hearing that they couldn't afford to fix their air conditioner broke our hearts!
We know Kail works hard, though, and hearing that Jo could potentially be entitled to $2,300 a month from her made our eyes bug out of our heads. That's a lot of money. And if Jo is legally entitled to it and the courts determine that Isaac should have that money, then obviously it's the right thing to do -- but if she's having a hard time wrapping her mind around it, we get it. That's a huge adjustment.
We just really hope this isn't going to destroy Kail's relationship with Jo.
We've seen how they've grown as co-parents from the very beginning, and it's taken them a long time to get to where they are today. We'd hate to see it all fall by the wayside after how hard they've worked!
Isaac is what really matters at the end of all of this -- hopefully Kail and Jo keep that in mind.
We know that he's a well-loved and taken care of little boy, and whatever his parents (and the courts) decide will hopefully be what's right for him. Our fingers are crossed that they will be able to work through this, just like they've been able to work through everything else in the past.
