For every, what? 10? 15? Bachelor couples that breakup, there's one that stays together. For better or for worse, one of the couples we got this year is Carly Waddell and Evan Bass, and despite a rocky start on Bachelor in Paradise and the obstacle Evan's facial hair must have posed, the two still seem as happy and in love as they did when they got engaged in Paradise last summer. And finally, after several months of a quiet engagement, Carly and Evan are finally sharing some details about their upcoming wedding.
That makes it seem a little better than it is, though -- right now, it sounds like the details are that they don't care that much about details. Carly told Entertainment Tonight she was leaving a lot of the specifics up to Evan:
I told Evan, I was like, 'Whatever you want to do. You find out what you want to do, and I'll plan it. I've never been that girl that's like, 'This is my dress, these are my flowers,' I don't care. Like, I would marry him in a courthouse and be fine.
Despite that, ET did manage to get a few specifics out of them: Apparently, Carly's been scouting locations in Napa, and the two are set on getting married this year. Also, Evan said a televised wedding is "on the table." (So basically, they're doing it.)
Also, Carly and Evan have thought about their bridesmaids and groomsmen, and there are quite a few familiar Bachelor Nation names on their lists. Carly says she'll have Jade Roper and Juelia Kinney in her wedding party for sure, and Evan wants Wells Adams and Vinny Ventiera in his.
And as for an officiant, it looks like Nick Viall and Chris Harrison might have to duke it out -- Chris has officiated most (if not all) the previous Bachelor weddings, but Evan said he and Carly talked about having Nick do it this time around. We'd be cool with either, but that's definitely a fight we want to see.
Hopefully, we'll hear more (and get a date!) soon. Hurry up with all this planning, you guys!
