Maci Bookout's 'Wedding Prep' Wasn't What We Expected at All

MTV

It's only two weeks until Maci and Taylor's wedding! On this week's episode of Teen Mom OG, the bride and groom to be prepared for their big day, and in at least one very surprising way. While they made nice with a difficult family member, not all the stars were so productive in their relationships.

It's almost wedding time for Maci Bookout and Taylor McKinney! Maci tried on her dress and looked gorgeous, but it was the itty bitty little copycat dress she had specially made for her 1-year-old daughter Jayde that practically stole the show! We can't wait to see the tot actually wear it.

As part of her unconventional wedding prep, Maci invited her ex Ryan Edwards and his girlfriend Mackenzie over to grill out with her, Taylor, and Bentley. Thankfully, it wasn't awkward at all, and hopefully they'll all get along just as fabulously at the actual wedding.

More from CafeMom: Is Catelynn Baltierra Pregnant? Here's the Scoop

Catelynn (Lowell) Baltierra seems to be doing better each each since returning from a month in rehab to deal with her PPD and general anxiety. This week there was major stress happening on the house she and Tyler have been renovating all season, but she remained pretty level-headed.

Of course Ty started to stress some about the unexpected costs, and his mom had to remind him that he needs to take care of his own emotional health first. Thankfully, he and Cate came up with a compromise about what they could reasonably afford to do on the house, and all seemed to be well.

Over in Texas, Farrah Abraham continued railing on her mom Debra Danielsen for reasons we don't quite understand. First she slapped her with a tree in her front yard while Deb was trying to help her garden, and then later she grilled her mom for wanting to take a couple days off from helping her.

We weren't aware that Debra was Farrah's employee, but even (especially) then, Deb shouldn't have to explain herself for wanting a couple days off. In fact, if she is employed by Farrah, we suggest she hire an attorney and sue her for harassment. Even Farrah's on-again-off-again boyfriend Simon Saran pointed out that she was being out of line with her mom. When Simon thinks you're out of line? Just ... wow.

More from CafeMom: Amber Portwood Defends Not Seeing Leah for Almost a Month

The most emotional part of the episode was when Amber Portwood talked about dealing with her ongoing depression. She's been very open this season about her mental health, even revealing that she suffers from both bipolar disorder, and borderline personality disorder.

Amber and Matt Baier got to pick Leah up from school and take care of her for a few hours, since Gary Shirley's stepdaughter was in the hospital. Ambs wanted to keep her overnight, but Gary worried about her getting to school on time. The incident brought Amber to tears, and she wondered how different her life would've been if she'd been properly diagnosed and treated, instead of self-medicating with the drugs that landed her in prison.

We totally felt for Amber, and hope that she continues to get better and gets to spend more time with Leah.
