Robby Hayes Hits Nick Viall Where It Really Hurts

Talk about a low blow! Bachelorette runner-up Robby Hayes recently went off on Nick Viall and ABC, which we're sure had nothing to do with jealousy over producers picking Nick to be the next leading man on The Bachelor.

JoJo Fletcher's second choice (she ultimately picked Jordan Rodgers at the final rose ceremony) opened up to Us Weekly about all things Bachelor -- including ABC's last-minute decision to bring back Nick Viall.

Basically, he slammed Nick for being old, and having "been around the block a couple times." This will be Nick's fourth appearance on the franchise, after competing for both Kaitlyn Bristowe and Andi Dorfman's hearts, as well as a stint on Bachelor in Paradise this summer.

Ouch! Robby, 27, flat-out said, "I thought [producers] would go with someone younger, someone with a little more energy to bring to the table." Did the former competitive swimmer just call Nick an old fogy? Seems like it!

For the record, Nick is 35 -- hardly over the hill. And have you seen him with his shirt off? Here you go -- and you're welcome.

Anyway, it's possible that Robby is a little jealous that he got passed over to be the next leading man. He said that he'd definitely consider going on the show again, so long as his family and friends were on board.

As for Nick? Robby wishes him nothing but the best this season. "I hope he finds that love he's been looking for," he said. We hope so too, Robby. We hope so too.
