20 Best 'Teen Mom' Friendship Moments
chelseahouska/InstagramAlthough the women of Teen Mom OG and Teen Mom 2 don't often cross paths, so many friendships have been built over the years. Think about it -- the experience of being a reality star on MTV and documenting your teenage pregnancy (and all the ups and downs of the years that follow) is a pretty unusual experience, and the only ones who understand what that's like are the others who are on the show. Of course, there's been a fair amount of drama between them at times -- especially where Jenelle Evans and Farrah Abraham are concerned -- but more often than not, fans have gotten to witness a lot of friendships being made for life.
Some of the women have been closer than others -- like Catelynn Baltierra, Amber Portwood, and Maci Bookout have always been a bit of a trio, since generally they aren't huge fans of Farrah's drama. Kailyn Lowry and Chelsea DeBoer have also been closer than many of their other co-stars, and over the last year or so, we've really gotten to see Kail and Leah Messer bond a lot now that they've been hanging out a lot outside of just their MTV duties. And because of that, there have been a lot of special moments between them that prove these friendships could end up lasting for life.
Many of them have been on TV for close to a decade, so their co-stars have been in their lives for a long time. We can't wait to continue to watch their friendships grow ... and hopefully they'll keep us updated on Instagram and Twitter with tons of pics.

Baby James Got to Meet Aunt Maci
James is the newest Teen Mom baby to join the pack, and that means he got to meet Maci and Catelynn at the most recent reunion, and it looks like he's already bonding with his aunts!
"Little James got so much love from his Aunties," Amber wrote when she shared this photo on Instagram. "A kiss from @catelynnmtv on his cheek and this beauty @macideshanebookout spoiling him already."
Leah & Kail's Hawaii Vacation
Earlier this year, Leah joined Kail on a vacation to Hawaii with their friends, and it seemed like they had a blast. They went swimming, got in so much quality kid-free time, and even jumped out of a plane. If you're jealous, don't worry -- so are we.
Chelsea Defended Kail
When Farrah's dad, Michael, made a comment about Kail being a higher weight class than her daughter, Chelsea jumped in to shut him down -- that's true friendship to us!
Maci & Catelynn Supported Each Other Through Their Miscarriages
As we saw on Teen Mom OG, Maci and Catelynn opened up about the miscarriages they suffered when Maci went to visit Catelynn in treatment, and it really seemed to be a cathartic moment for them both. It's good to know that they have each other through such tough times!
Leah Had Kail's Back in the Briana Drama
We saw a serious awkward moment go down when Briana told Leah that she was going on vacation with Javi, thereby putting Leah in a really sticky situation while the Teen Mom 2 reunion was being filmed. Leah had Kail's back and let her know what was up, which caused even more drama but proved her loyalty to her friend in the end.
The New 'OG' Cast All Together
We were pretty nervous about how the new cast members and the old cast members would get along when they finally met, given all the drama that surrounded new people being added to the cast. But it all turned out to be OK when they came face to face, and we have a feeling new friendships might be blooming.
Karaoke Night
You only sing karaoke with your closest friends, and that's what happened when Catelynn and Amber got together. Bonus: Amber's actually not half bad at singing. Do we see a musical career in her future?
