Another Former 'Bachelorette' Star Has Officially Tied the Knot

Huge congratulations are in order for a certain former Bachelorette star -- and he didn't even have to go on Bachelor in Paradise to make it happen! Over the weekend, Ames Brown got married, and it sounds like it was quite a shindig.

You may remember Ames from Ashley Hebert's season of The Bachelorette, and now, a few years later, he's finally found love -- no rose ceremonies required. According to the New York Times, Ames tied the knot with girlfriend Allison Palmer on July 30 in New York City, where the bride wore a floral Dolce and Gabbana dress.

The Times adds that during their reception later that night, the newylweds changed into hiking gear to set off for their monthlong honeymoon in Nepal. Okay, do they sound like the most fun couple or what?!

It may have been a bummer for Ames to get booted from The Bachelorette, but we're guessing he's pretty happy about the way things turned out now. As the Times reports, Palmer and Ames met just a year later during a sailing trip in Mexico, and the rest, as they say, is history.

See, heartbroken Bachelorette contestants? True love can totally happen, and you don't even need Chris Harrison's help. Although, let's face it -- if he offers, you take it.

Congrats to the happy couple! It sounds like they're destined to have many adventures together.
