This 'Bachelorette' Finalist Is Already in Talks to Be the Next Bachelor

jojo and chaseJoJo's dramatic Bachelorette journey isn't over just yet, but that doesn't mean that we're not ready to start buzzing about who will be the next Bachelor! (Alright, who am I kidding -- we start wondering who they'll choose from the minute we find out who's been cast!) At any rate, one of JoJo's final three is apparently already in talks to hand out some roses of his own.

That would be Chase McNary, the 27-year-old medical sales rep from Denver. On Monday night, Chase made his exit from The Bachelorette when JoJo had to be honest about all her feels -- or lack of them -- for him.

Even though he left the show a bit bitter and brokenhearted, it's all good now, and he tells Entertainment Tonight he's in talks to be the next Bachelor:

The discussions are there. But I don’t know -- there's a lot of weight there .... There [are] a lot of expectations, and I'm not scared of it ... but I definitely want to make the smart decision and the right decision before I totally accept that position.

Fair enough! Given that he's admitted to struggling to express what's in his heart, and the show requires a lot of talking about "connections" and "falling..." and all that other mushy-gushy reality TV romance stuff, producers may feel like Texan heartthrob Luke Pell is a better bet?

Of becoming the Bachelor, Luke told ET: "It's a possibility. I definitely would not pass on it!"

Maybe it's all still up in the air, but at least Team Chase can rest assured that the handsome vet Luke doesn't necessarily have the gig thoroughly locked up.
