Ali Fedotowsky Makes the Difficult Decision to Cancel Her Wedding Plans

Ali Fedotowsky and boyfriend Kevin Manno go to a party in West Hollywood.Adiós, Mexico. It looks like certain plans to tie the knot are on hold for a certain Bachelorette. Ali Fedotowsky nixed her Mexico wedding plans over Zika virus concerns, but not exactly for the reason you might expect.

Speaking exclusively with, Ali revealed her plans to put her nuptials on hold:

Originally, we planned the whole wedding in Mexico. We were super excited. We found the most amazing location and villa that would allow our entire family to stay with us. Then, all the news broke about the Zika virus and we had to cancel.

What's interesting, however, is that Ali was more concerned for her guests than for herself.

As Ali explains:

Even though we won't be pregnant when we get married, we just didn't think it was fair to ask our guests to travel to a location with active Zika virus transmissions … Most of our friends are in 'baby mode,' and that just wasn't a fair ask.

You certainly can't fault Ali for trying to take any precautions to keep people safe. As much as it sucks to cancel a wedding not once, but twice (Ali and her fiancé, Kevin Manno, said "We don't" to getting married earlier this year in California, after finding out they were pregnant), the third try might really be the charm. Plus, they'll likely have their beautiful baby girl with them, which will make their special day even more sweet.

Your day will come, Ali!
