It's Over -- Kailyn Lowry Confirms Divorce From Javi Marroquin

Say it isn't so! Kailyn Lowry confirmed her split with husband Javi Marroquin this week, saying that they're doing their best to take care of the kids. Kail confessed this season on Teen Mom 2 that she was devastated after a pregnancy loss, and with how it affected their relationship.

The couple has been married for three years, and have two children -- Lincoln, 2, and Issac, 6 (Kail's son from her previous relationship with Jo Rivera). Kail confirmed the divorce rumors to the Daily Mail on Tuesday, and while we were devastated to hear the news, we weren't exactly shocked either.

Kail said of the split, "We're trying to do the best we can for our kids because they are what really matters."

The divorce comes after months of speculation that they were over. They've had a rocky relationship from the start, with Javi's issues over Kail's male friendships, their demanding schedules, and what seemed to be a general lack of communication.

Shortly after Kail miscarried their second child together (which they had planned perfectly, according to her), she said that she was devastated not just by that, but also by how Javi treated her in the aftermath. On a recent episode of the show, he admitted, "It's like I needed someone to blame. I needed to blame somebody, and I was taking it out on you."

Unfortunately, Javi got the news that he'd be leaving for another overseas deployment for at least six months shortly after that, which may have been what finally pushed them over the edge. In what may have been a hint of the split, Kail told Vee Torres on this week's Teen Mom 2, "We run out of things to talk about -- I can't relate to what he says. He gets upset with me because I don't show emotions." In the same episode, Kail also hung up on her husband in a moment of frustration after he accused her of being cold.

While we're sad that these two couldn't make their marriage work, we hope that they are able to maintain a good relationship for the kids' sake. Sometimes parents just work better apart, and there's nothing wrong with that.
