Amber Portwood's Custody Battle With Gary Shirley Finally Comes to an End

It seems like Gary Shirley and Amber Portwood have been locked in a custody battle forever, but now, it may have finally come to an end. Last week, Gary won custody of Leah, and it's left Amber with a pretty hefty child support bill.

If you've been keeping up with Teen Mom OG, you already know that -- aside from dealing with her Matt Baier drama -- Amber has spent the years since she was released from prison trying to get Leah back. It hasn't been easy for her to co-parent with Gary, but getting to spend more time with Leah has always been her goal.

Unfortunately, though, it doesn't sound like that's going to happen. According to TMZ, Gary and Amber recently went to court and were able to settle, with Gary keeping primary custody of Leah and Amber being ordered to pay him $1,200 per month in child support. Yikes!

The good news? The site reports that Gary and Amber are planning to keep putting Leah first, which is what really matters. Plus, no change in their current arrangement means she won't have to learn a whole new routine, so that's probably easier for her.

We have a feeling Amber's probably pretty disappointed, but just because this is the arrangement now doesn't mean they can't renegotiate in the future. Amber's come such a long way in the past few years, and we don't doubt things will continue to get better for her!
