Celia San Miguel | May 14, 2016 TV

Sometimes there's a reason why audiences find the furtive glances and flirty exchanges between their favorite TV stars so believable — the celebrities have an undeniable chemistry off-screen as well. While on-set flings are a common occurrence in Hollywood, most fizzle out as quickly as they ignite. In some instances, however, they've been the first chapter of a love story.

Some of Hollywood's most endearing couples — among them Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani, and Alyson Hannigan and Alexis Denisof — met while working together on a TV show, dispelling the myth that it's a bad idea to mix work and play. Here are some costars who eventually discovered they were scripted to be together.
