Brandon & Teresa Davis Have Clearly Had It Up to Here With 'Teen Mom'

Break our hearts already! In a new clip for Teen Mom OG, Catelynn (Lowell) Baltierra is denied a request to see her daughter Carly, and it's absolutely wrenching. Cate gave her firstborn child to adoption as a teenager, and even though it's considered "open," it's up to Carly's parents to decide on any face-to-face visits.
In the clip, Cate and Ty meet up with their adoption counselor Dawn, and express frustration that they haven't been able to communicate with Brandon and Teresa Davis about visiting with Carly. To which Dawn produces paperwork that the couple signed when they were 16, agreeing that all future visits would be at the discretion of the adoptive parents.

Ugh, it's just so awful. Cate and Ty have had a really amicable relationship with their daughter's parents over the years, and have been able to visit with her at least once a year. Teresa and Carly were even guests that their wedding in August 2015, and shared a super special family dance along with baby Nova, Ty and Cate's second daughter.
However, the Davises' frustration at the MTV publicity for the Teen Mom franchise is hardly anything new. They've had serious words with Ty over his sharing Carly's face on social media, and they've declined to have visits filmed for the show.

Earlier this season, Teresa made it clear to Cate that she didn't even want to be discussed on the show, let alone filmed or recorded. It's clear that they're pretty fed up with with the publicity, to the point of not even allowing contact between their daughter and her biological parents.
It's got to be a tough situation for all, and we're just hoping that they can come to some sort of agreement that will meet everyone's needs.
