Leah Messer Rips 'Teen Mom' to Shreds in Irate Twitter Rant

As often as we're reminded that the Teen Mom cast adores the MTV crews they work with, just as frequently, they let us know that the show doesn't always portray what actually happened in real life. This week, Leah Messer called out MTV for bad editing, especially since this time, it's made her look like a bad mother.

If you caught Monday's episode of Teen Mom 2, you already know what she's talking about. In the premiere, there's a scene where Ali and Grace are crying because, according to Grace, Leah didn't give them breakfast. As usual, fans took to Twitter to bash Leah, and she didn't receive the criticism well.

In fact, according to the 23-year-old mom of three, not only was the editing totally wrong, but filming also happened at a time when she was trying to deal with her depression. She shared her thoughts in a long series of tweets, and here's what they said:

And that's not all she said. You can check out her Twitter to see the rest, and trust us: She's mad.

On one hand, it sucks that Leah has to go through this. On the other hand, she is on a reality TV show, and it's someone's job to take the footage and turn it into something entertaining that people will want to watch. It's the hazard of the trade.

But if Leah doesn't feel like she's being treated fairly by the network, good for her for standing up for herself. No one can argue that she loves those girls -- or that she doesn't try to be the best mother she can be. And if Leah knows it, that's all that matters.
