Farrah Abraham Gives an Update on Her Plans to Give Sofia a Sibling

She's been talking about adopting for awhile, but Farrah Abraham's plan to expand her family might be happening sooner than we thought ... or maybe not. The Teen Mom OG star gave an update on her adoption plans this week, and honestly, it doesn't seem like she really understands what she's getting herself into.

According to The Hollywood Gossip, the 24-year-old said she's not committed to adopting an infant -- but she does have an opinion on what gender she prefers. Because you know, that's totally how adoption works. You go to the Adoption Store and pick out exactly what age and gender you'd like to take home with you.

Insert eye roll here.

Anyway, the reality star said, "We're open to adopting someone who's not just -- a child that can not just only be a newborn ... But also a child that is maybe 3 or older."

She continued that she's planning to adopt a girl "within two years." Honestly, it's sweet that Farrah wants to give a home to a child in need. But when she says things like, "There's a lot of, you know, orphans that are so adorable," it's hard to take her seriously.

It doesn't seem that Farrah cares so much about giving a home to a child in need so much as adopting an adorable 3-year-old girl. She's talked a lot recently about being "ready" to make such a big step ... but is the adoption market ready for her? I guess we will have to wait and see.
