Leah Messer Gets Some Devastating News About Her Disabled Daughter Ali

Teen Mom 2 is back, you guys! And Monday night's episode was just as full of drama as ever, as Chelsea Houska, Jenelle Evans, Kailyn Lowry, and Leah Messer dealt with various difficulties in their lives. But it was Leah that had us feeling the feels, as she visited the doctor for an update on Ali's prognosis.

Once again, all four girls were dealing with custody issues to some degree. Jenelle was dealing with it on two fronts, as her mom still has full custody of her 6-year-old son Jace, and now her ex Nathan Griffith has been considering filing for custody of nearly 2-year-old Kaiser.

The Nathan issue was further complicated by the legal actions against Jenelle, for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend. It was interesting to watch the two sides of the story, as Jenelle laughed about the incident where she threw a glass at Jessica Henry's head, and then she and Nate talked about the huge gash she got in her head after it happened.

Meanwhile, Chelsea was dealing with her ex Adam Lind, who has been hinting around at wanted unsupervised visitation with their daughter Aubree. To Adam's credit, he did show up for Aubs's first day of kindergarten, but it's going to take some time for that trust to build.

Over in Delaware, Kailyn has been getting along with her ex Jo Rivera better than ever. Last season, they were going back and forth over child support, but it was revealed on the show that Kail decided not to take Jo to court over it. Javi was obviously not over things though, and it got pretty tense as he refused to have dinner with Kail, Jo, Jo's pregnant girlfriend Vee Torres, and Isaac and Lincoln. He actually got pretty mad at Kail for not bringing Lincoln home before the outing, and once again, we're questioning the stability of their marriage.

Leah still seemed to be struggling with exhaustion, but we couldn't blame her after hearing that she had to get up at 5 every morning to get her girls out the door to school by 7:15 every morning. The school was closer to Corey Simms's house, 45 minutes away, so it was quite the commute for the single mom of three.

But what really broke our hearts was the news she and Corey got at the hospital when they took Ali in because she had been having a lot of pain, and falling five times a day or more. Ali has a rare form of muscular dystrophy, and Leah and Corey were told by the doctor that they should expect to see her getting weaker and weaker as she ages.

We knew that it was a degenerative condition, but it's beyond heartbreaking to be confronted with the realities of it.
