Maci Bookout All but Admits She Wasn't Ready for a Third Child

She should have knocked on wood! Maci Bookout was caught on camera at the Teen Mom OG reunion show talking about her future baby-making plans -- except that she didn't know she was already pregnant at the time.

The reality star and her fiancé Taylor McKinney welcomed baby Jayde Carter just last May, and when the show was filmed in January, she had no idea that baby number three was on the way.

And she's due soon -- in May again.

Anyway, the subject of eventually having more kids came up, and Maci inadvertently stuck her foot in her mouth by declaring that she wasn't sure if she wanted more. "I don't know," she said about having another kiddo to join Jayde as well as Bentley, 7 (her son with ex Ryan Edwards). "I know Taylor does [want more]. I'm not against it but I'm not for it, either."

Little did she know that about a week later, she'd be at the doctor talking birth control options when she'd find out that she was pregnant again. Talk about a surprise!

It's pretty clear from Maci's confession on the show that she was not ready for another baby -- at least not just yet. And who can blame her? There are a lot of reasons it's difficult to have babies just a year apart, not the least of which is the physical toll on your body from being pregnant back-to-back.

Maci is such an awesome mama, though; we're sure she can handle it. Besides, there are a lot of fun upsides to having kids so close together, too! And since they're having a boy this time, we bet Bentley is over the moon to get a little brother.

It's been so fun to watch Bentley, not to mention Maci and Taylor, love on baby Jayde in the months since she arrived -- it's just going to get even better when this little guy makes his appearance.

Whether Maci thought she was ready for it or not.
