'Grease Live' Cast vs. the Original -- They Go Together Like Rama Lama Ding Dong (PHOTOS)

The kids from Rydell High are back! Grease: Live has an all-new cast, and they totally nail the look of the original (and some of them are almost age-appropriate!). For the Pink Ladies squad, Julianne Hough stars as Sandy, Vanessa Hudgens sings as Rizzo, and Grammy-nominated Carly Rae Jepsen plays Frenchy. Although I'm heartbroken to report Zac Efron isn't playing Danny Zuko (come on, he would have been perf!), Aaron Tveit seems like an appropriately dreamboat-y fit for the role.

Unlike NBC's Peter Pan Live! and The Sound of Music Live!, Grease Live! will be staged before a live studio audience. Will the fans sing along? Start a dance mob in the aisles? Or walk out in boredom if the whole thing is a flop? This is Fox's first foray into live musicals; who knows what could happen!

More from The Stir: 'High School Musical' 10 Years Later -- You Won't Believe How Much the Cast Has Changed (PHOTOS)

Back in 1978, the movie Grease earned nearly $400 million worldwide, making it the top grossing movie musical ever. So whether you're going to be hate-watching or belting out "You're The One That I Want" with the rest of us cool people, you certainly won't be alone tuning in to the reboot.

Grease: Live airs at 7 p.m. Eastern on Fox on Sunday, January 31.
