ABC's Choice for the Next 'Bachelorette' Should Be a Real No-Brainer

Ben Higgins's season of The Bachelor has just begun, but we're loving Jubilee Sharpe already. She's been through so much but remains a strong and positive person, and even though the rest of the women in the mansion haven't caught on to how amazing she is just yet, it's only a matter of time. And now, the rumor mill says there's a chance Jubilee might be the next Bachelorette.

This week, Buddy TV published an article about why Jubilee should take on the role, and we can't agree more. Just from the little we've seen of her, Jubilee seems perfect for the gig. Case in point: She's obviously comfortable with getting personal on TV -- even if she didn't feel that way at first -- and that is essential to being a lead in this franchise.

Plus, Jubilee has such an interesting (although heartbreaking) backstory and personality that makes us curious to find out more about her. You'd think that fact alone would make her a shoo-in, since viewers would definitely keep coming back week after week to see her!

And of course, having Jubilee on board would solve the massive diversity problem in The Bachelorette. Recently, an ABC exec mentioned that the next leading lady will almost definitely not be white, so it makes total sense that they'd want Jubilee for the job.

We'd love the opportunity to get to know Jubilee better and see her find her happily ever after. After everything she's been through, she definitely deserves it!

If Ben and Jubilee don't end up together in the finale, we're rooting for her to be the next Bachelorette for sure. Don't let us down, ABC!
