The 'Friends' Reunion of Our Dreams Is Finally Going to Happen

It's finally happening, you guys. After more than 10 years off the air, the entire cast of Friends is reuniting for an upcoming two-hour special on NBC. Could we be any more excited?

NBC made the announcement on Wednesday at the Television Critics Association's press tour in Pasadena. Yup, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer are all coming together for a special honoring Friends director James Burrows.

The comedy director legend has also directed Taxi, The Bob Newhart Show, and Cheers, and he recently shot his 1,000th episode of television.

While we don't know in exactly what capacity we'll see our favorite stars return to the small screen, I think Janice can sum up our thoughts about it.

There have been mini-reunions over the years, like the one where Jimmy Kimmel wrote some fan fiction and got the actresses to play it out on a recreated set of Monica's kitchen, but the six of them have never gotten together all at once.

According to NBC entertainment chairman Robert Greenblatt, every attempt is going to be made to bring Ross, Rachel, Phoebe, Chandler, Monica, and Joey into the same room.

Now that's something worth cheering for.

Because really, can you ever get enough Friends in your life? Never. The answer is never.
